Pleasant place to stay . Will book with them again in the future

Dirty hotel. Paint peeling off the walls of the hallway. Floor is cheap plank wood look tile that is visibly dirty Rooms are old and need updating. On site restaurant closed 2.5 hours early because “they weren’t busy”.

We usually stay here when we visit San Angelo to go fishing. There is a river right across the street, which is nice. The rooms are always clean, staff is always nice and friendly. Beds are comfortable. The only thing that is not up to par is the bar and grill. However the hotel does not run/own it. It is nice, large TV for sports but the food is not as good as I thought it would be and they need to hire more people. The poor waitress was by herself and it was very busy. I could add more but overall it is a good place to stay.

Room was clean, and the bed was very soft and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Staff was helpful and would greet us with a friendly “welcome back” every time we entered. Location was very convenient to downtown. The gym equipment seemed a little rickety, but it worked, and across the street there is a nice path along the river to walk for exercise.

Pictures were clearly from when it first opened. Staff was accommodating but when entering the room, there were more than just “normal wear and tear”. Paint chipped walls, ceiling over the bathroom shower looked like it was gonna cave in. Very discolored. Drain in shower was missing. Even stepping off the elevator to get to the room there was a terrible odor. I am not sure how this was rated so highly before. Won’t plan on rebooking this location.

The hotel as an whole needs updating! The hot tub was out of service! Bathroom shower had mold and vents water dirty! Just old outdated place . Elevator was dirty no one sweeps or mops in this place clearly.

I would have liked our room cleaned and fresh towels put in our room each day. Other than that our stay was wonderful.

We checked in and checked our room before we brought our luggage up. Thank goodness for that. The pass-through door security lock was broken. The walls had holes in them and the carpet was dirty. It did not feel like a safe place for us to stay. We were able to check out with no issues, however, apparently they did not care to keep us there because they did not offer us any alternatives. Instead of offering a more sanitary option for washing your hands in the men's bathroom down in the lobby, a bar of Dial soap that had apparently been used by many was available. Yes, I know hand washing is not required however it's desired.

The hotel is very beat up. Sheets were knotted. Fitness equipment is from the 80’s. There were stains all over the floors.

Good property at a great price. Comfy bed and decent breakfast. Would stay there again.

Nice hotel for a quick visit, attached restaurant/bar was a plus and got to enjoy some football games! Place is a little dated but would definitely stay again if in the area!

We've been a frequent guest of this hotel and generally like the friendly service, the breakfast buffet, and location. It makes us notice things a little more when the price goes up 20% like the elevator that was out of order, the wifi that was uncooperative, etc. Hope the price comes back down a bit.
