Beachside Resort Panama City Beach

Rooms were small and not clean at all. Staff was not helpful at all. Will never stay here again nor will I recommend this place!

The staff at the front desk were really welcoming! Our room kinda smelled a little weird, which I assume is because it’s close to the ocean. It had a really nice view of the ocean.

Rough time to rate the location so soon after a hurricane.

Outdated and dirty room. Carpet old and smelly. Light in bathroom did not work and fan made a racket. Door hardware to balcony was rusted. The ocean view was really the only good thing about this place.

Beachside is an older hotel and it is starting to show its age. The carpet, couch and chairs need to be replaced in 706. The beds are comfortable. Our bathroom needs a deep cleaning. It is away from the crowded part of PCB. Overall I was pleased with my stay. I would stay there again.

The staff, beach and location are great! The ac got cold and the beds were comfortable. The place just is a little run down. Most of the fixtures were broken or unplugged and some of the outlets don’t work. The fridge and all the stuff in the bathroom was rusted badly.

If you’re a Christian don’t stay here! There’s a great Christian hotel right down the street. You can feel very dark energy here. Jamaicans own the hotel. This was one the worst stays I’ve had. Flies everywhere, AC and fridge made loud noises, body wash dispenser didn’t work. The WiFi is TERRIBLE. My phone had no service inside the concrete walls, the WiFi would cut back in and on every 10 seconds (literally). I’m suprised it didn’t break my phone. If you stay here you will have no service like I did. Black girl with glasses behind the counter is extremely rude and needs to find a new place to go. The other white and Hispanic staff are amazing. Glad to leave.

We enjoyed ocean view it was very nice view. The only thing I don’t like it they charge for parking 2 nights was $30 but everything else was perfect

They charge for parking. The restaurant on site was closed. Hot tub didn't work. Pool closed way early ( 7:30 and open until 10)

Beautiful setting. Enjoyed balcony and stroll in beach. Perfect for sunrise and sunset. Room was clean and bed slept well. Couple things needed to be addressed (no remote) but staff took care of things

Dirty carpet in our room ...............

We had no electricity for the first night, for some reason, they supply you with an ice bucket but there's no ice machine?

We did get there a bit early and our room wasn’t ready but they let us use the restaurant, pool and go on the beach and called us when it was ready. It was a huge room with a balcony with ocean view. Just amazing staff. Definitely will be using them again!

Ocean view Poor cleanliness; the coffee maker was very dirty and had cockroaches in it. The electronic key kept failing, requiring me to go to the front desk to have it reactivated. The reception staff had a very poor attitude—it felt as though they were doing me a favor or handing out charity. The room wasn't ready until 7:00 PM, and it was poorly cleaned. In the bathroom, the body soap dispenser didn't work; when I reported this to the housekeeper, she responded in an angry tone, insisting that I just needed to press the button. I told her several times that it wasn't working, so she finally came in and tried to press it, saying, "This is how you're supposed to do it." I asked her to show me where the soap was supposed to come out; when nothing came out, she simply turned around and walked away. I reported it to the front desk, but no one ever came to check or fix it. Furthermore, I was charged for parking—a full fee for one spot and a partial fee for another—even though I only had one car. It’s unbelievable to have to pay for parking; I’ve never had to pay for parking at a hotel before, let alone for a space I didn't even use, given that I only had one vehicle.

I love the location and it is easy to park and find places on beach. Was there after hurricane and everything was as good as it could be under the circumstances.

I loved that we were right on the beach and that we had direct access to it! I didn't like the attitude that the front desk lady had.. We also had to PAY FOR PARKING..$20 a day!! I could understand if maybe the parking was in a separate lot, but it wasnt.. it was a normal parking lot like ALL businesses have!! My husband made the best analogy that its like selling me a hot dog, then charging extra for mustard!! Also, we were not impressed that it took them 3 days after the hurricane to re-open the pool. One of the reason my husband and I chose this property is because they had a tiki/pool bar... well, It didn't open at all... the whole time we were there. This was our first time staying at this resort and it will be our last!! There are too many resorts within a 5 mile radius that I am sure could have and would have done so much better at accommodating their guests
