Bait and switch - booked a suite but they were taken offline for maintenance shortly before my arrival. Was put into a 2 queen room instead. I had to spend a long time talking to Expedia for a measily $30 refund (a quarter of the price difference between the two room types). Property is run down and outdated, and Expedia not good at protecting customers when rooms they booked are not available.

Room was okay, nothing special. A bit dated.

The customer service pretty much did not exist. No follow up with management. The first suite carpets had stains and wore marks and smelled horrible. The second suite carpets were still and bad we wore our shoes. We checked in on a Wednesday and no service until Saturday. We were dirty from outside adventures and no clean towels or bedding. The garbage was overflowing. The safe didn’t work. The tub didn’t drain. The rooms needed an overhaul. The outside was very nice too bad the inside wasn’t. To pay for a suite for a week and get what we got the company should be embarrassed to put customers in the rooms. The food was good but need employees which is difficult I get it. The area is amazing the hotel needs to step up and it all could be amazing!

A surprise, out of the way place offering beautiful vistas and a relaxing atmosphere. Caters to busses as well as independent travelers. On site restaurant so no need to travel to Page for meals. Friendly staff.

Absolutely loved our stay at Powell Lake Resort. The deluxe two-bedroom lake view room was stunning — every morning I woke up to a breathtaking view of the lake that I'll remember forever. The Antelope Canyon tour was the highlight of the trip. One heads-up for future guests: the hot water in the showers runs on a schedule, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, a wonderful experience I'd highly recommend.

I had booked a traditional 2 Queen bed room with a garden view and when I got there they put us in a room facing the parking lot. Also, we did not know we would have to pay a $30.00 park fee even though we were there only for 1 night. Rooms are dated and need renovation.

Place is old, in desperate need of a remodel!

Great and beautiful property, helpful staff, reasonable and clean.

The location is spectacular. The rooms and the food at the restaurant were disappointing.

Very solid

The property is beautiful and offers stunning views. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness was very disappointing. The worst part was our bathroom, where the ring around the toilet was black, making it clear that it had not been properly cleaned. We also noticed several dirty drinking glasses at the Driftwood Restaurant, so it wasn’t just an isolated incident. It’s unfortunate because the property itself is beautiful, the views are amazing, and the staff was wonderful. However, cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this is definitely an area that needs significant improvement.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean. The best part of the stay are the views of the property. Sitting at the top of Lake Powell, it is quite stunning. With cooler temps, we also enjoyed the fire pit in the evening.

The hotel is in an absolutely stunning location, and our stay was very comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is the service at the restaurant, which didn’t quite match the standard of the hotel. Other than that, we had a wonderful time! We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again.

Reserve a room facing the lake and the marina with a balcony. Beautiful sunrise from the room. Buffet breakfast was very good. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable just a little outdated. Still a very nice room and would recommend.

The food and the waiter attention was not what We expected from the Driftwood Lounge restaurant. Very bad. One of the beds in the room had used toilet paper inside the bedding. No coffee cups, no sugar, no stirrers.

We were so disappointed. Front desk was pleasant but the room was horrible. Room was smelled. Furniture was extremely dated. The toilet was dirty. Food was horrible. After we checked in, had dinner we actually decided to leave and checked in the Hampton Inn down the road.

Room was good, I felt the AC did not work that great. I reviewed the listing but no where does it say you have to pay a resort fee and pay for a National Park Pass- 2 extra expenses and could have stayed elsewhere for less money. Pool area was good. Price paid for one night I didn’t feel was worth that amount.

We waited a very long time for our room to be ready. We didn’t get in til after 5:00. And the bed was made without pillow cases. The room was nice, but dark. It needed more lights and areas to plug in phones, etc. I think the grounds were very well kept. Very nice location.

Fabulous setting and location. Views to mountains and across the lake. Main pool area is great to relax, have a drink, watch the sunset. We had a suite room which was spacious but dated decor and bathroom. Didn’t matter though as area was great. They are by looks of it refurbing rooms at the moment. Communal areas - lobby, pool, bar, restaurant are all more contemporary. Would definitely stay here again. Note there is an additional $30 nps charge as the hotel is in a national park - Glen Canyon.
