Hotel Riu Plaza New York Times Square

Exceptional

We were expecting a much better room. The room seems outdated, the bedding was really uncomfortable and not cozy. Pillows were uncomfortable and we have to ask for more pillows. The sofa bed where my son slept, was dirty and we had to ask for additional clean sheets and blankets. The hallways looked like a hospital and just felt not cozy at all. The staff is amazing and very friendly.

Lovely hotel, clean and staff were brilliant. Location was great right near time square.

Very good

Great location and breakfast buffet!

The shower head was nice. The gym was nice and breakfast selection was nice. Close to time square and restaurant row.

The room was great. Breakfast was excellent had quite the variety of assortment to choose from. I would recommend it to everyone.

Everything was great except the lack of elevator service. The included breakfast was wonderful. The bell hop got a great taxi service to a location one hour away. The elevator service is woefully inadequate. We walked down 17 flights of stairs one day.

Fabulous hotel close to everything in Midtown/Times Square , well run hotel. Excellent staff, always v helpful esp Damian the chef who made my daughter her own breakfast because she has an allergy and doesn’t feel safe eating from a buffet. He was so helpful every morning. We really appreciate him! Thank u Damian!

Great location. Very small rooms. Fine for one night with family of 5. Was told I was being upgraded and once they realized I booked through Expedia and not directly with them—the upgrade vanished.

Breakfast , but to much people from 05:30 We spoke with Jose to change mattress , he promise but nothing.

The location was excellent, in a safe, vibrant area that made it easy to explore nearby attractions. The property was consistently clean, with well-kept common areas and a tidy exterior. The staff provided exceptional assistance and were always ready to address questions or concerns. Our room was meticulously maintained, with comfortable furnishings and all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience, though there are areas for improvement, such as enhancing recreational facilities.

Amazing! Perfect for a girls trip!

Clean and friendly Immediate location was not nice, very dirty, smelly as soon as you exit the hotel.

We had a nice stay. Most of the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, but seemed fairly strict concerning seating and taking coffee back to the rooms. The glass wall and door in the bathroom made it difficult for five people to get ready. Glass?!! Also, there was a shower leak onto the floor. Location is great.

First off the room was over priced we stayed in a small room w double beds with our daughter and husband. the shower was see through in the room how you supposed to take a shower with all adults? The bed sheet had stains on it and the light switch wouldnt work so light was constantly on .shower floor was dirty and cracked.. very disappointed! Their breakfast buffet wasn’t good either that’s one of the reasons we stayed there was for the free breakfast.

Excellent location. The heart of times square!! Will definitely book again

Very clean room..large breakfast buffet which was very good with a lot of choices the attached bar was very nice and it wasn't very expensive which was very surprising since hotel is in Midtown Manhattan. Things you should know before you go..there is no overnight parking in the lot that is closets to the hotel so we had to move our car from one $75 dollar lot to another lot 4 blocks because they allowed 24hr stays.

Very good experience Lobby decoration is weird but the sofas were comfy!

Everyone was awesome. Breakfast was amazing. So much options to choose from.
