To be clear, this is a Motel that is now technically a hotel because they've enclosed the pool/outer area where the rooms face outwards. No elevator to the 2nd floor. I probably saw more families/guest walk in, take a look around and walk out than I did see people who stayed overnight. We stayed here due to a lack of options from booking late on a gameday weekend. The proximity to East Lansing is ideal, but I would happily pay more to stay at the graduate that offers wayyy more amenities for the price upgrade. This "hotel" could easily invest a fairly small amount in order to give itself a needed facelift to further legitimize it's brand, but it's clearly not interested. My best guess is unsuspecting visitors and college one night stand patrons do enough for it's business to keep them just barely profitable. I would NOT stay here again.

Terrible place :(

This was a great room for the weekend we were there. Close to the MSU campus and many stores. The room was clean and roomy enough for the four of us. The breakfast options in the morning were good, something for everyone. We were too tired to enjoy the pool and other things provided for entertainment, but it was great to have that option indoors.

The room was not properly cleaned and there was no hit water
-
The room was dirty, the sheets had stains, and the “clean” towels had hair on them.

This establishment has seen better days sadly, unfortunately there was a cockroach in our bathroom, and for an up charge of $400 a night, they must be kidding. Would not return.

Did not eat breakfast. Just wanted to get out of there Old dirty property. Young group of kids were yelling and fighting for hours in the night

Location Bed was extremely uncomfortable, could see adjacent rooms bathroom though our bathroom.

Our family (my husband and I plus 4 kids) were visiting our oldest son at MSU for the weekend and this was one of the only places available. Now we know why- it was extremely dirty and unclean - the bathroom was full of mold in corners, the shower curtain and the whole room smelled like urine. We could not turn on the AC because it smelled like a dead animal had crawled in it. The entire experience felt unsafe and gross for our family. And to top it off, breakfast was only until 9am on a Sunday? It was a dismal experience and we will never stay here again. There were people just milling around the parking lot and lobby that looked dirty, homeless and unclean. Quality Inn really needs to clean up their properties or watch them turn into drug-pedaling hotels. So disappointing - especially considering we paid $255/night for TWO rooms! I would not recommend staying here. The only good part was the sweet guy working the front desk. He really was doing his best, was kind, helpful and did his job well

It is strange that the sleeping rooms are not carpeted. They have vinyl plank flooring. Also, I had called ahead to ask for an early check in, but was denied. I was told we could check in 1/2 hour early, but we needed 1 hour. The hotel was nowhere near full so clearly there were plenty of rooms already made up, but they were not willing to accommodate us, so we had to change our plans. We will not be staying there again.

Found bed bugs in the room, the manager accused me of bringing them in with me to get my room for free. He was rude and tried to belittle me. I’ve stayed here before and other places and never was treated like that before.

We checked in and already I recognized that I didn't feel safe in this hotel. It smelled very heavily of marijuana. We walked to our room & the facility was not as it was pictured on the website. The site definitely made it look WAY better than it was. Once in the room I was even more disgusted. It was VERY unclean, pictures falling off the walls & the smell of marijuana was so strong I went back to the front desk to ask for another room. The rooms were also way smaller than they appeared on the site. We gave the other room a try, walked through a back hallway where people were clearly living there and/or paying by the day/hour. The back entrance was not secure, pipes were exposed. The building was falling apart. The new room smelled a little better, but after traveling to this new room there was no way I was going to stay here with young son and his friend. We were only in the facility 15-20 minutes and we checked right back out. I was very upset by this experience & it really made our day less convenient and added stress that we did not need.

Staff were friendly but the room was very dirty and had a weird smell.

The property is older and well used. The carpets could use a good cleaning. The pool area was impressive, with the rooms around and above it. Looks perfect for partying on a game weekend.
-
The young man who greeted us was friendly and courteous and had a smile on his face which is always nice! Our room was very clean and cool!

I d I didn't stay it was really dirty and staff was horrible.
-
Disgusting! Beds were soiled, roach infested, and the staff were rude we came back to our room door open
