Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Downtown-Convention Center

Lots of things broken in the room, poor communication. Breakfast was mediocre and they rushed people out at 10am on the dot.

The morning staff was not impressive as they lacked basic communication skills and professional demeanor.

Very dark room with view in the next building which makes daylight impossible, no light on the ceiling …. The parking is only valet !

The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work and the AC never shut off. Other than that better than expected.

The public spaces of the property felt very open and airy. The bar/breakfast area was visually pleasing and comfortable. The staff were helpful and engaging. This resulted in a stay that was not only pleasant but lots of fun. Only thing I can think of is the $60 fee for valet parking, but that is pretty standard for the area.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. breakfast was worse than usual hotel breakfasts exp....same each day. Hot tub...I went once and there was a young couple making out , her swimsuit top was half down , they were annoyed I approached to get in so I left. Because I had to leave early, I was checked out early and charged one nite's stay...reasonable. BUT the young woman, who seemed to be in training, took a lot of time, and it turns out no one ever submitted my paperwork. I was told my a man, light skinned african american, tall, looked like an athleted, maybe 50 something, "Booking would take care of it"...well Booking couldn't because they had no bill from you. I am still waiting for an almost 900$ refund. Called Booking.com, was told rep from them he would contact you. Been two days and I will contact you later today.
