Everything - from start to finish we had a lovely, comfortable and relaxing stay! Location was ideal, easy to walk everywhere during the day and night. The room was spacious, clean, well laid out and cleaned every day. Our view was really nice too onto the busy streets Nothing, everything was perfect! Nothing was too much for the staff

Great location and most of the staff was kind. One rude front desk agent
-
Beautiful old, well maintained hotel. Really great location. Staff is wonderful. Pillows were awful and air conditioning was startlingly loud.
-
The mattress was a little uncomfortable and pillows to high and small, but otherwise good.

It's a beautiful hotel right at the Magnificent Mile. The interior was quite modern and the rooms were very clean. From my room I a had a nice city view.
-
The room smelled like mildew and when we arrived we noticed several hairs in the bathroom sink and tub, which was a bit off putting. The air conditioner didn't work well and it was very stuffy in the room, despite it being nearly freezing outside. The bed was lumpy and old. However, the location was amazing and we had a very smooth check-in/out process. I'd recommend this place if you're on a budget, but if you're looking for anything remotely romantic or luxurious, this is not your place.

Room was EXTREMELY cold, the heater was not working at all, I ended up sick after my stay there. No breakfast included and the staff at their tiny “breakfast lounge” SO SO RUDE not only to me and my group but also to others walking up to order breakfast. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Not polite at all just looking at them and how pissed off they looked by just being there was uncomfortable. The room was cleaned but had a very weird smell which made it uncomfortable for me to sleep. And both receptionists the one the day we arrived and the one in the morning not even a smile or good afternoon/good morning in a polite way. Not sure how is this hotel treating its employees but their faces said A LOT not in a pleasant way. Their faces and attitudes only demonstrated how much they dislike that place and that’s unfortunate. Loved the location that’s about it!

Really main attraction was being close to everything. The hotel needs to be renovated very old and rooms and bathrooms tight.

Hairiest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. Hair on the floor, hair wrapped around the faucet. They gave me a new room, less hair but still not no hair. No upgraded room, no offer of a food credit or free drink for the trouble, no response to my written complaint. Don't stay there.

Property is gorgeous. Good location. Windows were super dirty. Rooms were rather dark (had to put nearly every light on). Many splotches on the carpet in the room kind of took away from the beauty of the lobby and rest of the property. Asked ahead of time for a higher up room (for a good view) as it was a special occasion (wedding anniversary) - and we were placed on the 11th. I'm not sure whether more could have been done to accommodate. A couple of times I was in the elevator with people who were going up to the 20th or 21st.

It’s a nice hotel. It has a weird smell though, and I was afraid to fall asleep worried that I was inhaling chemicals of some sort and the bathrooms are super tiny, but good location.

Shabby is the best description of the Allerton. My room’s carpet was stained in multiple areas. The layout of the room didn’t make sense — they put the desk and chair in the farthest spot from the entrance, and a right opening fridge in a space without room for it to open. The TVs are basic. Not smart. No internet connection or casting. The heat didn’t work on the first night of frost in Chicago. Or the next two nights. The cold water tap was loose so my bathroom sink had no cold water. Everything other hotels wouldn’t charge for, Allerton charged. Hot beverages in the reception lobby like coffee or hot chocolate. Leaving a bag to hold after checkout. The bright side is that it’s very convenient to get there by CTA bus.

I was extremely disappointed with how outdated the hotel was, the rooms felt dirty, the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on. I paid a premium price for a very understated hotel. The location was convenient

My experience at the Warwick Hotel was extremely disappointing. I stayed at the hotel for a few days to celebrate my engagement, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible from the very beginning. Upon arrival, the staff did not offer to help us with our luggage. The Wi-Fi never worked during our entire stay, which prevented me from making some urgent calls when I needed to. To make matters worse, I rented a bicycle and asked the concierge to keep an eye on it while I stepped into the lobby to ask a quick question. In less than two minutes, the bicycle was stolen from right outside the hotel entrance. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The lack of basic service, unreliable amenities, and complete lack of security were unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our stay was wonderful overall! The only negative things I would mention are that our room was pretty small and the mattresses were quite uncomfortable. We also booked online but were surprised to find out that a $180 deposit was required at check-in. Parking was another challenge, as there weren’t many convenient options, so we had to use valet parking, which cost $77 per day. Other than those few things, we really enjoyed our stay!

The location was perfect as it was walking distance to many attractions and the river walk. The room was comfortable but a little outdated. I also found a few strands of hair when I first arrived, but everything was fairly clean. My main issue with the room was the loud AC. It was set to auto and would turn on and off throughout the night with a loud clicking noise. The staff were friendly and personable throughout my stay. For the reasonable cost and location, I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here in the future.

Superb location, very friendly and helpful staff. Lobby and Bar area very nice, felt room was a bit tired and could do with some decoration, however was clean. Bar wasn’t open for as long as could’ve been, would’ve preferred it to be open later. I would stay again if in Chicago.

Our room was cleaned late in the day Friday which forced us to go back to our room later than planned.
