When I drove up to the hotel I was apprehensive because of the location and the surrounding area but once I stepped inside the hotel lobby I was truly impress with the whole ambience of the place. I had a problem with the desk lamp and called the front desk. Someone responded to my room and resolved the problem in a jiffy. Excellent hotel.

Bed, shower, breakfast, all fine. My only gripe is that I didn't get the wake-up call I was promised. I didn't get the wake-up call I was promised.

The room , as well as the entire hotel, was very comfortable and clean. Our only complaint was the breakfast. There really wasn’t much to choose from. We would stay here again though.

The room was clean, could have used a second chair. Breakfast was usual continental type. Breakfast was warm and well supplied. Coffee was always available, a plus! Could have had fresh towels for the second morning. Only one chair in the room for two people. Towels could have been redone for the second morning.

I rated many areas of this hotel as excellent but the largest negative is the location. Didn’t feel too safe as the area of Albany area is somewhat rundown and homeless individuals that seemed as though they were on substance or schizophrenic.

If you're traveling without a car, don't stay here. You're literally 5 minutes from the train station but, you are surrounded by construction zones and the highway. the nearest restaurant is across the construction zone at least a half a mile away. The only food that you are getting is breakfast in the morning and you can snacks, although there isn't much to choose from. I try to get to The breakfast early, we got there late and the coffee was burnt. While the rooms are a decent size the beds are Hit or Miss some are medium firm and some are so soft it's like trying to get in and out of a giant bean bag and they are all too tall so if you don't mind jumping up into your bed like a child, this is the way. The floors are not all even one of the bathroom doors got stuck on the outside floor. You have to move the coffee pot in order to use it because currently where it is you can't actually put any liquid in it and the shelf doesn't roll out. the temperature control in the rooms is almost non-existent, the rooms DO NOT get cold. Also, make sure that you have a credit card with at least $50 on it for incidentals, when I asked if we could leave the deposit in cash cause that's all we had, the blonde that we checked in with Monday night said that they need that credit card number and they can't take cash because, what if I destroy the room?

We had a good nights stay outside of the fact that the bathtub drain was plugged and the water did not drain so we couldn’t shower.:(. Breakfast was Cold. Not a place I would recommend
